found 8 buckets that i stored away and forgot about. when i dumped the parts out, these came out. anyone know what guitar they were on, fender i do not think to be so, but who knows.
i plan on putting them in a lathe and see if there is enough meat to make them round and use on a non pedal.

Roy,
My Rickenbacker D-8 non-pedal console has similar looking leg mounts but the mounting holes are beveled for flat head wood screws. I'm pretty sure that Rickenbacker, Gibson and National all used 3/8"-16 leg mounts at some time point. Is that what size those threaded holes are? |

thanks, you are probably right since a few came through the shop.
he was always changing things up so he probably made a better mouse trap out of them. he usually took these in on trade. i sold a rick that was in the top of the shop, been there for decades, but is restore able condition. the funny thing, the 8 string pedal steel was still basically in tune.
i still have his multi-kord that needs a new home. |
