I think that besides intricate and obviously "different" to main stream steel backing of a Country Singer, it was a very complementing and fitting accompaniment and solo.

This one’s a tough call between two of Midlands albums.

I’d have to say Midland’s “Let it Roll” album though is my favorite. It’s just packed full of wonderful steel parts.

Ray Price "The Night Life".
I didn't know what instrument was playing the intro but I knew I had to find one. 55 years later I still love "The Night Life" and still love playing steel guitar.

I’m a huge fan of anything Emmons but my favorite is Ray Price- “The Night Life”... but I am just beyond words of Travis Toys CD “Entry Point” I can listen to it non stop over and over and over....
