So good! I enjoyed that as well. Your fret hand muting is really good. I struggle. I learned palm muting for the most part but limits me at doing finger picking at greater speed. Someone commented here about a tone knob workout at the 50 second mark. Is it really the tone knob that you’re manipulating with the pinky for that violin effect? I do a similar effect with a regular guitar but with the volume knob. I can’t imagine the tone knob producing something similar. Thanks!

Thank you, I work on muting technique with both hands a lot. I find the pick blocking I learned from the Joe Wright videos helps a lot with the faster passages.
It really is the tone knob! The tone knob’s sound changes depending on everything to do with the guitar (pickups, capacitor, potentiometer) and depending on those factors it will change how it sounds. The guitar has more of nasal “violin†quality to it, while my Vol/Tone pedal makes a Boo-ahh like Speedy West.
