Cheap, and minus the outrageous shipping charges from places like Orange and McMaster. https://www.ebay.com/itm/274372542427

I did a tap test with some Ali vs Stainless steel, the Ali was dull & no sustain so I made a nut from stainless. Be warned it is hard work as very hard to fine polish.

.
I've always bought what I need at Home Depot.
They always have what I want and they are not far from home.
I have stuff.
I try to make music with it.
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it doesn't.
But I keep on trying.

HD aluminum stock is usually to thin for angle stuff. you need something verging on 1/4".

George Piburn sells finished nuts and bridges. Not aluminum, brass or 3D printed. They may not qualify as cheap but they’re finished. I think he also has small quantities of brass angle stock.
