Just saw an epoxy chrome GFI Ultra S-10 at the factory today. 1st one that is a prototype. Bob may post pictures sometime in the future and offer that finish.

While doing it, one could also dull those sharp corners which I ,personally never cared for.

I bought a used GFI Ultra a few years ago. After about 3 years of practice, Gigging every Friday night, 1 Saturday night a month and many parties. I had a problem with the Epoxy on the guitar. I don't know if the guitar was exposed to some chemical or vapor that was the cause. Or something in my sweat softened the Epoxy.

I bought another GFI Ultra, S12 Keyless, When I started playing it I fitted a piece of thin hard plastic to the neck with double sided tape. Did not want to put a boo boo on it, Till I was sure I would keep the guitar.
