I’m diddling around with my new iridium pedal and really like it. Twisting the drive way up gives some perceived power tube distortion. Just my style! A couple of questions please:

1. Where to find free IR,s to try out? I've downloaded some from tonejunckie that were heavy on the 12" size. I'd like to try a 15" and a 4 x 10" but these weren't in my free download. If I find something I like l wouldn't mind paying for it but I'd like to have a listen first.

2. Any recommendations on speaker types and combinations thereof to use? I'm not too into squeaky clean tones as a reference.

This pedal really takes my earth drive well along with my deco and blue sky. I have had multiple versions of the pod bean but this iridium pedal seems more real sounding. Playing with the room size knob yields good sounds too.

This is great. Travis Toy's TT12 IRs are on there too and sound fantastic.

Thanks for the tip Corbin. I downloaded the PF 350 and Travis Toy 15" speaker and the iridium IR program excepted most wav files but not all. That's ok tho. I've downloaded a few free files from various web sites and noticed not all wav files get accepted by the IR program on the iridium is this your experience too?

I've used the Iridium on an online Facebook gospel show and on a good few recordings now. It's the best pedal I've used so far. I tried a Kemper for 3 months and never liked it although it seems to work great on electric guitar. I also have an Atomic Amplifirebox which pulled me out of a few holes but I never liked it for recording except for a modern pop sound. I used the stock settings with the 2/10 cab. Well done Strymon.

I use the 2—12" Vintage 30 by Celestion Impulse of a Celestion Vintage 30 in an open back 2—12" cab in the Fender Amp Mode for both steel and guitar.

Switching it from the Marshall to the Fender was super easy on the software you download from the site.
