I'm sure some forumites will have sold, and subsequently shipped, steels overseas. What is the most cost-effective method? I need to ship my Emmons from Britain to the US but straight-ahead air-freight is prohibitively expensive.
What are my options, please? Is the Post Office worth a look, for example? I know it won't be cheap but I'd appreciate any suggestions. _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles, Martins, and a Gibson Super 400!

Roger, I have had very good luck with the Post Office but those were only 45 pound packages. Service was good and the rate was good. I have not done any overseas shipping since the pandemic started and have heard that things have changed.
Proceed with caution.
Best Wishes to you my friend. |
