You may already know this but James Best, who played the part of Sheriff Roscoe P Coltrane, was a pretty fair guitar picker himself.

I actually did this five years ago on the day that James best passed away, 16th April 2015, what a career he had, he was amazing, growing up watching the Dukes of Hazzard in England was a weekly blast, I remember all that crazy steel guitar playing in the background I think somebody said that was JD Maness, great skits.
