Mike Neer - "Keeping It Real"

Post by Douglas Schuch »

got an email notice from Bandcamp that Mike Neer has a new release coming out. I clicked through, and found one cut from the album available to give a listen to. And what can I say? I loved it! Not country, not swing - definitely jazz, and quite interesting. Check it out:

I will cross-post this in both STEEL ON THE WEB and STEEL WITHOUT PEDALS
Pedal steel, lap steel, resonator, blues harp - why suck at just one instrument when you can do so on many?

Thanks, Douglas! I’ve got some really great stuff planned—this is just a warm-up.

Checkout Troubles

Post by Kevin Gillies »

Hi Mike

Not really on topic here, but this was a later thread of yours.

Major headaches trying to check out an order of both CDs, print Bebob, e-Scales and the pair of Moonlighter CDs. I get this message:

"Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /homepages/21/d183254243/htdocs/steelinstruction/wp-content/plugins/wp-checkout/models/order.php on line 1267

No prices were found, please try again." and then

"USPS Errors

EXPRESS - Missing value for Country."

I could just direct PayPal you. And I've got some other stuff for you, including booking a gig if you're ever out near LA, if want to direct email me oi@kgillies.com

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for for reaching out. The problem may be associated with ordering tangible and digital goods in the same order. The USPS add-on for calculating prices seems to cause the problem.

Send me an email to mike@mikeneer.com and I will gladly take care of your order. Thanks!
