Heya, Bruce. Sorry to hijack, just curious- Brand New, or New Old Stock?

Hijack?

Post by Bruce Heffner »

What does that mean....the picks were purchased from Fran before she passed and stored in my private stock, that's the best answer for you. They have never been out of their factory bags. How many sets do you want to buy, as 14 sets were sold since the initial post?

Thanks for clarification, Bruce. I’m not looking for any- was just curious if someone actually got into producing them again, or if these were acquired previously as you’ve stated. I apologize for meddling. I in no way meant to question their authenticity. Best of luck w/ your sale!

Jeffery Mercer,

The picks usually have JF on them, which stood for Jeff and his wife Fran, There were some earlier ones made that BJ on them which i think stood for Buddy and Jeff. One of the things that the Newman Picks had were the Diamond holes on them instead of circle holes you would see on National picks.
