New Excel 12-string

Post by Alan Ames »

I just bought a PSG from Fuzzy Steel Guitar Company, a Suberb 12 string universal.
I've only had it for 1 day, but the tone is fabulous; the pedals and levers work super easy and feel very solid.
I like the keyless tuner. Easy to re-tension which on my Sierra is not so easy.
It felt a little weird sending money to a Japanese company that I have never seen, but he was very responsive and conscientious.
It was shipped on a Saturday and it arrived in mid-Missouri on Thursday, 5-6 days. In perfect shape.
Thanks, Alan Ames

Congratulations, but you know the drill. We gotta have pictures :!:

The Superb Uni 14 is on my radar if I ever get solvent again. I think the Superb model is one of the most innovative models out there.

We must see pictures. Did you go with the long scale?

Mine came in long scale without me asking.
I think Mitsuo considers it preferable on a uni to get the best out of the low strings.

My picture is not upside down but Forum software is flipping it. I'll try again.
String length is 24.5" My Sierra was 25". My right knee has three levers. One to the right and two to the left.

These instruments are extremely compact and very light considering how much stuff is under the hood.

That blue color is hot.

And Richard, when I ordered mine in 2018, I waited about 6-8 weeks. I think that's pretty consistent.
