12 string Rittenberry

Post by Derek Puckett »

Hey guys not sure where to post this but we have this lacquered sd12 red with 3 piece pearl and abalone inlay, due to unforeseen circumstance the customer backed out of the build. Gary and I will offer this guitar at an awesome price.

Your post probably belongs in the For Sale area.
However, one thing is not clear.

Are you selling an entire guitar, or are you selling only the body?

It says they will offer the "guitar' not just a cabinet.

AJM, justice is spot on this.. this is an option for someone to put a down deposit on a completed guitar, this will put someone ahead since we have a large list of orders and this was already online. Lead will depend on and when deposit is made and I have more pictures upon request.

Derek, any news on the 4-raise changers you said might be in the works? Might discuss a trade-in if so, I have the Pee Wee Whitewing SD-12...

New Rittenberry

Post by Larry Bell »

Well, I’m on the list for a new Rittenberry S/D-12 myself

Derek has agreed to build me a two tone lacquer guitar with a natural maple top and dark front & back aprons. It will still be a few months out. Really looking forward. Haven’t had a new guitar in many years.

John that will be on down the road, it will require a lot of redesigning on the changer and endplates. We won’t build enough guitars that will need that many changes on one string at this time.

Thanks for the info, Derek. I know retooling must be quite the endeavor!
