A friend of mine here in Australia has an Emmons S-1o push pull. He has asked me to find out the year of manufacture. The serial number is 6689 but there is no "S" stamped right next to the number.
If anyone could assist me it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you |

The 6xxx number guitars were built ~'82-'84-ish, the last PPs before they started switching production to the LeGrande. I doubt anyone will be able to give you a really precise date but perhaps there is someone who bought a new guitar around that time with a close # that can chime in. |

Thanks Ian,
I thought that the number was too high to be in the 1970's
but it's odd that there is no "s" stamped alongside the serial number.
As you said, someone may chime in and offer some insight. |

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |
