OK thanks. Rich Hinman better cut that out. How's anyone else supposed to get hired around here with him playing like that. Of course, I'm kidding. Well played Mr. Hinman.Brett Lanier wrote:Rich Hinman

That's Simon Dawes on harmonies too, if that means anything to ya. I really like how the bass player handled this song. There's one descending line in particular that sounds like a tip of the cap to Phil.
Some of you guys probably saw videos of Molly years back, playing with her family members as "The Tuttles".

It’s Taylor Goldsmith on harmony from the band Dawes, which had previously been known as Simon Dawes a number of years ago when Blake Griffin was a member.

Excellent song, very well played - while we're on Dead covers with beautiful west coast steel, check out Greg Leisz on 'Watkins Family Hour's 'Brokedown Palace'.
And to do my part to add to the confusion-Blake Griffin, while extremely talented, is a 6'9" power forward for the Pistons. Blake Mills is the musician I believe you're referring to.

Beautiful rendition,, gorgeous vocals, lovely steel playing as well..
Really well done!
An apt testament to the formidable song crafting abilities of
Hunter /Garcia, even later in life..This version does them proud, and I know they would both approve .. Good to see their fine work carried on so capably and reverently... bob
