I suspect that the only part of my SD10 that is "professional" is the cabinet. Everything else, including changer, side plates, neck, cross shafts, bell cranks etc. are from an LDG style guitar. It is not a rack and barrel bud. But the build is totally solid and professionally done. I got this guitar the way it is now, and been playing it for years. I suspect it was rebuilt into LDG by one of the Bud wizards 20-30 years ago, bit don't know for sure. Perhaps one of the previous owners is a forum member and can enlighten us.
SHO-BUD Professional SD-10 Black, SHO-BUD Pro III Custom D-10 Red, Goodrich Matchbox 6A, Steeler's Choice seat, Quilter Steelaire Amps.

Sho-Bud steel guitars
My first double- neck was 60s D8 with one knee lever. Does anyone play, or know of, these Sho-Buds? I’ve never seen another one like it, wish I still had it!

Resurrecting an old thread here, but tonight will be my first gig with this 78 Pro II Custom that I bought from Tommy Detamore this past Sunday:
It's a bit of a change from my Carter S12U, but I'm looking forward to tonight.

This is waiting for me at a friend’s house in Buffalo NY. I bought it on the Forum from a guy in Cleveland. The late James Morehead redid the undercarriage. I can hardly wait to go pick it up in June when I leave Florida. It has two knees now. Hoping to add at least a third, plus C6 changes, with parts I have stashed away.
