Re: Thanks, Terry Niendorf,
Huge shout out to Mike Hillman . This is Charlie Norris’ Black Raja bar he gave me years ago when I started playing. Charlie pulled it out of his personal pack a seat and gave it to me. It has a ton of miles and I wanted to have it refinished. It has a lot of sentimental value to me. Mike did an absolutely awesome job and it looks and plays like new. It is now housed in its own heavy duty plastic tube and lives in my seat, not to be used. Kept for its mighty mojo. RIP Charlie and thank you Hillman Bars!Michael Hillman wrote:Thanks for the kind words and an extensive review of our powder coated bars, so pleased that they are working well for you.

Adding a new 12 string bar, 7/8†x 3 13/16â€,
Several Forum members have requested a longer 7/8†bar, so I will be adding a 7/8†x 3 13/16†soon. Anticipating that I can price them at $59.95, as material cost is about the same as the one inch bars we are currently producing. Should see the first of this new size around the end of May. Thanks! Michael

There actually is an off white glow in the dark powder coat
Hey Tommy, At first I thought your inquiry amusing, but I found that there is a glow in the dark powder coating, described to me as off white- not certain how well it performs, but I’d be willing to experiment and do a few different sizes if you want to try one-or two. What length of 3/4†diameter do you favor? I can do 2 3/4â€, 3†and 3 1/4†length in that diameter, and of course, all the 7/8†diameter lengths. My powder coater hasn’t done much glow in the dark coating so he couldn’t tell me how long the glow lasts, or if the finish is the same smooth gloss as the colors we have used. Guess you’d leave your bar in the sun or bright light and get it well charged. Let me know your thoughts, Best! Michael

I received my two bars yesterday.. Red and purple. They're not only pretty to look at, but are smooth and glide over the strings as well as my zirconium bar.. Great job, Michael! I'm a happy customer!
