emmons Lashley Legrange C9th fingers

Post by Randy Lefebvre »

The pin for the F# 1st on my Emmons broke off. So unless someone can help with replacing the pin, I am requesting to purchase (2) E9th fingers for the Lashley Legrande. I hope someone can assist with need for new fingers(or used).
Thanks ahead of time. Seek the knowledge from those who have experienced the positive outcome.

There is room enough on a LeGrande finger to drill another pin hole directly below the original. If you're comfortable enough with disassembling the changer to replace a finger, then you can fix it yourself with just a drill press. You can get something for the pin at McMaster-Carr, a 1/16"∅ dowel pin or spring pin will do the trick.

BTW, if you do decide to just replace it, the E9 and C6 fingers are the same

I'd get the parts from Billy Knowles and do it right.

Randy, there are two different types. The difference is one type has the axle hole is off center creating a flat surface on the edge on pickup side. Billy Knowles probably has either type. Either will work but there is a visual difference.
