Fender dual 6 professional questions?

In trying to get information on this fender dual professional i haven't been able to find anything on the six string model.

I can’t help you with information, but dang, that’s a cool instrument. Congrats on acquiring it.

Thanks buddy im really digging it. I just wanted to learn some history on it.

The first Dual Professionals introduced in '46 had 8-string necks and rectangular "box" string-through pickups. The asymmetrical string-through pickups like your guitar has showed up in '49, which may have also been the first year for the dual six model. The Dual Pros ran consecutively for a year or two with the Stringmaster steels that were introduced in '53. So, guitars like yours were made roughly from '49 to '55. (Most of this info came from the book Fender: The Golden Age 1946-1970)
