Hi fellow players, as I don’t want to cause any damage, I need help because I don’t know how to keep off the rods form the cabinet. They moves a little bit up and down but not enough to keep it off from the holes. I have more confidence with MSA but never done this on a old Legrande. Thanks for any help Eugenio

Ciao Eugenio,
Are you asking how to remove the cross shafts?
If so, there's info here: https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtop ... ross+shaft

Seems to be very hard to do, so will probably paint the external side of the cabinet leaving shaft where they are... thank you anyway for help. Eugenio
