1990 PRP Mullen D10 8x5 2300 plus---SOLD---

Post by Richard Lotspeich »

1990 D10 Mullen 8x5, complete rebuild by The great Mickey Adams in 2015. I'll provide the link to his post.It was bought from Mickey by a forum member close to me,then I purchased it from him.I removed the front apron graphics, and guitar has been played sparingly. It came with a brand new Justice case. Plays as it should,,and sounds even better. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtop ... prp+mullen

Is everyone afraid of something with this guitar?? It looks great,,plays great,,and sounds awesome. The price is below what most are going for. Ive had 2 people low ball with 1800 bucks,,and not one reply on the thread. This is as good a guitar (or better) as any on here. I dont play C neck at all,,and just want to move it where it will be used by someone.

Pre Royal,,1990. The guitar looked cheap with the water color graphics in my opinion. If it doesn't sell I'll just put it back in the closet

That's Mullen's best sounding guitar.
At that price, you shouldn't have any trouble selling it. :D

In my humble opinion it would have definitely sold better with the Logo and builder graphics. YMMV

The graphics are in the link posted,,and we're not from Mullen. Someone had a scene airbrushed on it. I and most people that have seen it thinks it looks better the way it left Mullen,,plain ole blue.

I like the plain ole blue but it still should have "Mullen" on the front.

I like the look of the guitar the color is beautiful I'm like Erv I think the Mullen decal would make it look complete.

Im going to try and get one,,but the 2 offered by Mullen are black background and white background. This one would have had clear I think. Thanks for the responses,,but if it doesnt move,,I'll keep it. Like Mickey said in his ad "there is a beginner out there that would kill to own a PRP, but can't afford the 3k price tag...Heres your chance"

I can't believe anyone would reject this guitar for lack of a $10 Mullen decal. You are correct though, far as I know, they are only black or white letters on a clear background...at least that's what I've been able to get from them. I wouldn't worry about that. Let they buyer choose which color decal they want.

I once had a nice 96 Mullen Pre RP D10 listed for $2500 that took nearly a year to sell. Who knows why one sells and another doesn't?

People here want a perfect guitar at a bargain price.
It'll sell, it may just take some time to find a buyer who realizes the value and is not concerned about a few flaws.

Yes,,,as stated above. If I put one color on there,,everyone will say I should have used the opposite. The next owner can get one or not for the 6.95
