Post by Kathy Freeman »

Hi Folks, do any of you have experience of the Framus 800? Would you recommend it?(only found a few posts which didn't really give much info - maybe I missed something?) Hard to find a credible 8 string Lap Steel in Europe - but did come across this one. Trying to decide if I should go for it. Thanks

Kathy is it the same type as listed in this post? https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtop ... ght=framus

Does it have the changers?

Having owned other Framus guitars I'e always been impressed by the quality and with a P90 it's pretty darn cool. I'm going to be travelling thru Belgium and France in Sept with my eye open looking for that type of sweet S8 find!

Thanks Tom. It's the "800 Hawaii", no fancy levers. But that would still be OK. I'm hoping it's solid, reliable and sounds great!
