Eastwood (Airline) Mando Steel

Post by Jeremy King »

I'm new on the Steel Guitar Forum. I am looking forward to being a part of this community of musicians!

I wanted to share a recent idea of mine that Eastwood Guitars started producing recently called the Mando Steel.

How would that thing work with bar slants? Could be horribly out of tune?

It is a little more difficult to get accurate bar slants but it opens up a whole new world for other techniques. Lately I have been playing around with alternate mandolin tunings and picking styles on it. I know I am biased, but it is a great instrument to be creative on.

Not sure I see the need for it, although I wish you well. You can achieve the same thing with an effects pedal.
