"Drinking Champagne"-George Strait-Paul Franklin Break-C6

Post by Jeff Garden »

"Drinking Champagne" is off George Strait's "Livin' It Up" CD. There's not a lot of steel in the tune but I had Paul Franklin's signature steel break going through my head the other day and wanted to figure it out.
Pedal 5: string 5(-1/2), string 9(+1/2), string 10(+1)
Pedal 6: string 2(+1/2), string 6(-1/2)
Corrections and comments always welcome.
It starts around 2:20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leEmAIyQIz0

The original post from 2016 took both Jeff Garden and myself back in time, when we previously exchanged emails over this great break.....hence Drinking "More" Champagne

Here was my approach using 7th pedal
