Nice Looking Six String Lap Steel

Post by Jim Fogle »

Thanks for posting the photos of your new lap steel. It is a nice looking steel.

I also visited your website and found the video / sound clips of the Hudsonator console guitar. What a unique instrument. Both it and the more standard style, cutsom build acoustic resonator guitar sound sweet.

Judging from your area code I might be relatively close to your shop.

I only will offer it in a six string. The parts to do eight string would all have to be made in bulk and that is a large investment that I am not going to do this late in life.

I will soon to be 62 and have broken way to many bones to last much longer working. Old author keeps getting in the way. Hands don't work like they use to.
When it rains I squeak like a old screen door. Got more knocks and raddles than a worn out 58 Chevrolet.

I no longer offer it with the legs.
I stopped making the leg sockets about 6 months ago and have no plans to start making them in the future.
