Pretty guitar! Can’t say I’ve ever seen an SKH, LeGrande 1,2,3 etc. with the old push pull style pedals. Is this a Frankensteel??
I thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I’ve said the same about them all.

Bob,
What a cool piece of Emmons history you got there, that gal has some major mojo happening. And totally drool worthy!
Mike, that’s no Frankensteel. That’s the way the first ones came out of the factory and to tell the truth, I wish they would’ve kept on building them that way. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one for sale of that early a vintage.
Best of luck with your sale!

Just a note in packing that UPS won't be clever enough to do the #1 thing required to protect the guitar from damage - that is reinforcement bracing to keep the partition in the case from breaking out. I would also unstring it to prevent the strings from damaging the changer fingers if anything moves out of place.
It's a beauty - juzt adding my 0.02 to help keep it that way.

RKR Arrangement
Yes, indeed, Doug. I noticed that as well. Emmons used PP right moving levers for that position in the early LeGrande guitars. Using that toggle to reverse direction was probably one of the very earliest arrangements, before simplifying the method as shown below.Doug Jones wrote:Interesting RKR arrangement!
Bob has a gorgeous example of a SKH Emmons and I certainly wish him well in the sale!

early LeGrande
The first LeGrande I had built was serial number 028L and It got to me in Dec 1982. So, this beauty was built before mine, and is earlier with the P/P pedals. A piece of history for sure.
