Quilter Rig

Post by Robert Weeks »

Here is a Tone Block 202 in a Vboutique V Que cabinet with a 12" Double T speaker. Cabinet is covered in black alligator and a cane grill. Dimensions are 16.250″ wide, 18.50″ tall, and 11.50″ deep. Everything purchased new last week, but my plans/needs have changed since ordering. It never left my house and only turned on and played for a couple minutes. Total rig weighs 29.76 pounds on my scale.

SOLD

Wow, that is really sweet looking! I'm not a potential buyer, but will ask the obvious question out of curiosity - how easy is it to "un-dock" the amp from the cab?
Pedal steel, lap steel, resonator, blues harp - why suck at just one instrument when you can do so on many?

Quilter Amp

Robert,

If an amplifier could ever be considered "beautiful," that is it! I love the alligator and the way the 202 sits recessed in the cab. Just beautiful...and I bet it sounds as good as it looks!
CLR Custom SD10 Pedal Steel; Telonics 500-B Combo w/ TT 15"; Hilton Low Profile VP; Telonics X-10 Pup; Frenchy's Steel Mill Strings; George L's Cables; BJS Tone Bar; Hoffmeyer Picks. This combination produces a Heavenly tone! Psalm 33:2 "Praise the Lord with...an instrument of ten strings."

Loosen the 4 screws on top and take them out. The whole top then lifts off and you have access to remove the head.

Thanks

Thanks so much. The alligator is stunning! It does sound good and my original plan was to get 2 of these rigs as I need 2 channels. My plans changed and need to stay with single amplifier (my steelaire).

I've been trying to rationalize buying the cabinet since you made it available separately. I have a 202.
