Ricky's Steel in another lime-light

Post by Ricky Davis »

Ok; the composer; Graham Reynolds that I've been working with on his movie soundtracks to all the Richard Linklater movies in the last 15 years; is a composer to many musical things from opry to orchestra to jazz to etc.....well he presented the Marfa Triptych 3 portraits of west Texas"the country and western big band suite" back in 2013. We did a show at Marfa Ballroom; of all songs Graham Reynolds composed and years later(yes went on back burner for a while..ha.) he/we finally finished the CD and did a huge show last night to release it and it's a 14 piece band with a 3 horn section and 4 string section and the main leads as you can see are the two names on the front of the CD "Ricky Davis" and "Redd Volkaert".

You can HEAR this new CD and send it as digital Gift and etc...here>

Enjoy your time in Marfa and west Texas; as this is exactly what it feels like out there.

I want to get the CD but do not like to use my Visa. Is there an address where I can just send cash?

Ricky, this is fantastic, and a wonderful opportunity to stretch our imaginations and get a respite from our routine of listening to the same old music (which we love). You are the 'Man". Thanks, Lonnie Portwood.
Music is probably the most "spiritual of mankinds emotions, and when practised with a pure heart, can lead one into the presence of God, who invented it. Lonnie Portwood
