Hi,
First, I know nothing, nada, about MSA’s.
I just got an (older?) MSA D10 Classic. It sat assembled and setup in someone’s basement. Some corrosion, especially on the legs, but not terrible. Mostly dirty and grungy and requiring a good amount of cleaning. Walnut lacquer, SuperSustain pickups, 8x4.
But it came without a case. I advertised in the WTB section for one but no response. So, I thought I’d get a keyboard soft shell case like I’ve read others use for their steels. Any recommendations, please? Thanks. |

With a heavyweight like your MSA D-10,I'd think real hard about a split hard case. Seems to me Kevin Hatton makes them.Maybe Fred Justice? |

That sound like a great Idea... 2 cases will be welcomed.
Just be sure, to get one that has a handle that is doubly reinforced, so supporting the weight won't be a problem.. _________________ Steel Guitar players are members of a Special Family |

I just spoke with my daughter, who is a Commercial Fabricator of Soft Sided Cases, Sails for big Sail Boats & bedding for Big Sail Boats & Big Rig Trucks...
She would be open to making a Reinforced Soft Side Case (2) for someone's Pedal Steel Guitar.
She would need some dimensions & some specs, so she can develop a quote. _________________ Steel Guitar players are members of a Special Family |
