I was doing the same when it was gone. My guess, it will be on sale on Reverb from Ft Lauderdale within a week.

a few hours ago. Did they deny the original buyer after the sale?

They probably caught there mistake and ended the listing before it sold. Ebay will let you lower the price but not raise it without ending the auction and listing again.
