Topic: Is tailpiece on Sho-Bud Pro III glued on? |

I’m cleaning the changer on my C6 neck. It’s my first time doing this so I’m keeping careful track of the parts.
I’ve got the pin on the changer and the fingers removed, but can’t figure out how to remove the so-called “tailpiece†from the guitar. I also don’t see how the neck can be removed from this guitar. I’ve removed every screw I can find holding then tailpiece and neck onto the body, but none of it comes loose.
Inside the cavity it like there is varnish or glue (see picture). I’ve tried pushing the tailpiece and the neck in various ways but they don’t seem to want to move.
Is the tailpiece glued to the wood from the factory? Pictures below, thanks!

I figured this out. Here's what eventually happened... posting in case it helps someone in the future.
Me...
Rad... I figured it out at about 3:15am on Saturday. My C6 neck had tons of adhesive underneath the fretboard... along with the fretboard screws. I cleaned the adhesive with rubbing alcohol and reinstalled without any adhesive or tape... just the screws. Seems to hold fine without glue. This is with the raised plastic fretboard (guitar is a Pro III Custom).
First time cleaning the changer fingers... was quite the experience!

Awesome work; that’s how I eventually figured out how and the best way to do…..as Sho~bud has had changes around every corner….. as JUST with the Pro III from start to finish…..Probably 15 different changes through all those years.
