Makes me miss Heart of Texas! I spent a good deal of time there back in the day. Bought a fair amount of stuff from Steve Hennig, too. And Ray. Ah, the good old days....
Does anybody know the story behind the pedal guitar Steve Hennig was playing? I vaguely remember running across a picture of it, somewhere in the past, but don't really remember it.

I am pumped!
Gonna pull out my EJ strat right now!
I noticed the blocking (on steel) done with the pinky rather than the palm. I think I am gonna try that.

Thanks! Yes, it looks like the same system. I knew I remembered it from days gone by! Here's a video:Danny Letz wrote:It appears to me to actually be one of those MSA pedal rigs & in really nice condition. There used to be an old demonstration video on YouTube with Maurice & Leland Green. You might be able to find it,

Loved that Steve! Terrific playing as usual. And what a surprise, didn't recognize Steve Hennig at first -- haven't seen him since my Austin days in the 70's and 80's when I was a frequent customer (and nag) at the music store.

Steve Hennig is one of the most under-recognized pickers in Texas, by FAR!! The cat could/can play anything, but chose to make his mark in retail and sound reinforcement businesses and less in performances. But he's a magnificent guitarist.
Palooka and EJ also, of course.

My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
