I forgot about the reissues. Here's mine: '53 model, excellent black and pearl MOTS covering, nice totem pole fretboard, fab sounding string-through pickup with Rick Aiello Nibro magnets, original working tuners with new tuner buttons, good pickup cover with rare Supro script intact, original cupcake knobs, even has the plastic pickup cover screws that are usually missing. This is a well cared for 66 yr. old survivor. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer one. Man, I'm starting to have second thoughts! There's a tiny ding in one spot of the MOTS covering (see picture #4), most of the fuzz is worn off the backside and the case shows some wear but it's solid and still does the job.
