Hey,
I'm been enjoying working some non-pedal C6 tunes on my E9 Stage One, by dropping the E's with my LKR, which gives you a B6 tuning.
But it's kind of a drag to keep my left knee on that lever the whole time.
Anyone have any ideas or tricks to lock the E-Eb knee lever.....particularly on a Stage One, which isn't very mod-friendly.
Thanks! |

A quick retune? Would take only 10 seconds to drop 4 and 8 a semitone. |

South of the mason dixon line, we'd use a bungee cord😁 _________________ '81 Sho-bud LDG, 2 EMCI's |

I get around needing a locking KL by finding three or more different ways to play anything. Just a matter of playing in/out of pocket patterns. It's all there. |

Similar to what Billy suggested, you could use the AB pedals to switch from B6 to A6. Same notes two frets up, with a low 3rd and a high root. Without having to slant.... |

I have seen guys use a Bungee Cord from LKR to the front-right leg, for extended 6th practice. |

Yep up north it's definitely duck tape! _________________ 1969 Custom built d10, Fender 25R practice amp,Dunlop pedal, Peavy Special 130 w/15" Blackwidow, Gretsch resonator, 41 Gibson 7 string lap steel, Epiphone flat top, 67 Epiphone Olympic |

Even if you're just going for C6 type sounds I would think it would be very limiting to have those strings locked to Eb. There are a ton of voicings for those type of chords outside of dropping the E's. |
