"She Don't Get The Blues" - Alan Jackson - C6

Post by Jeff Garden »

Here's some of that swing thing, Alan Jackson's "She Don't Get The Blues". It's off his first album "Here In The Real World". I'm not sure who to credit for the steel as both Paul Franklin and the late Weldon Myrick are listed on the jacket.

NOTE: this tab is for C6, high to low D-E-C-A-G-E-C-A-F-C. I think most of us have a D string on top these days instead of the older style G string. Since everybody's C6 setup seems to be a little different I tabbed it out so you only have to use the bar and won't need to use any pedals or knee levers. Feel free to slick it up with your setup :)

Enjoy and as always questions and comments are welcome.

Here it is on youtube.

Those are fine licks and can be used in numerous songs. No pedals and no slants is pretty unique also.

Jeff I worked on your tab some last night and it is dead on.
I am trying some of the parts in different places but all the notes are correct to my ear.

Thanks for posting this. I always check out what you post on tab.

That is sweet, no pedals I can do it. I will print it up for my tab collection.
