Info wanted.
Peavey Heritage Mdl 212 S.N. 2A 01198818

Can anyone tell me anything about a Heritage Amp?? Are they good for Steel?

It would be OK but not spectacular. I had one back in the 80’s. It has a solid state preamp and four 6L6 preamp tubes with a 50% power switch. My Heritage had stock Peavey speakers.

I also had one in the 80s. At the same time I had a SF Twin Reverb. I had replaced the Heritage speakers with Black Widows. I was playing guitar and beginning to play pedal steel. I was using a Strat and a MSA student model steel. The Heritage sounded better to me for both guitar and pedal steel than the Twin.

The Heritage was voiced for six string electric guitar, not steel guitar.
