Alonzo will be there! This will be the last show of the Southern Steel Guitar Convention after 31 years so everybody who went to it at the Saluda Shrine Club all those years and the Venue at Belvedere should attend this one!

Out of curiosity, why is it ending? If it's a venue issue or maybe just in need of someone to take over the reins, maybe there are options?

Yes Brian and Scott, it has been a good run. 31 years and 120 shows.
I think that Charles Reece and Buddy Walker would be proud.
Buddy Walker passed in 2004 and Charles Reece passed in 2008.

May be the longest running Steel Show as far as having the most shows.
We use to have four shows a year but changed it a couple of years ago to 2 shows a year.
It's possible it may continue under another name and venue. We will post that after this show.

Thanks,

Jerry Reece

Jerry....Bill Nicholson here.
Planning to make it to this very special last show. Would like to play a short set if there are any slots left, but if not, that's OK and we will see you and everyone there on Sunday.
