Not an 800, that was a cable-operated steel with no levers. You have the student version of the Fender Artist, which was built by Sho~Bud. |

Fender S-10 Student.
I had one. It's a Maverick clothed in Fender amp tolex with an amp logo and leftover model 800/2000 tuning key pans with Kluson tuners.
It was just a cheap student model they could offer that was cheaper than the Artist models. CBS only marketed them from 1975-77.
Around L.A. I see them sell for $5-600. The cable-pull models are far more popular. _________________ No chops, but great tone

I doubt if this model is a push/pull.

I have no idea what it is really called. I do know the ABC pedals pull the strings and the knee lever pushes the E strings flat.

Pull/release guitars have a simple one-piece finger. Whereas, the push-pull and all-pull guitars have multiple-piece fingers. |
