Bought this GFI pak a seat from my friend Jim Bloomfield. First steel seat for me. I've always used a drum throne.
The GFI seat is just over 11 pounds, almost 2 pounds less than the drum throne, and much easier to carry.
When I opened the storage compartment it was obvious that the Hilton pedal with bracket attached was too long to fit in either of the long bins. But placing it as shown in the picture, the cover closes and keeps the pedal firmly in place. More room to store other "necessaries."

Hey Gary, I brought the drum throne to your house. How did you know what I have in the garage? "We-weese the seekwet weapon."
Jim, thanks, it was a nice deal on a good seat.
You're taller than me. I'll dial it in eventually. The steel seat feels sooo different than the drum throne, not only because of it's height.
I guess that's why they say you need "seat time." |
