At 2:05 in the video there is a lap steel. It's a 4 string.
Can anyone identify the make? Nice looking steel, whatever it is.

It's a Hofner Bass? At least, it looks like one. _________________ RICK ABBOTT

Hi Bill,
Rick is right. It is a Hofneresque bass like McCartney played. Although something about the pickups makes me think this is a Hofner knockoff.
What instruments you been working on?

Thanks guys. I thought maybe it was some lap steel I never saw before. I have not been working on anything. I am just enjoying my last build. _________________ Currently own, 6 Groner-tone lap steels, one 1953 Alamo Lap steel, Roland Cube, Fender Champion 40 |

Remember when pics of these violin shaped steels were floating around the forum? I really like the looks of them.

Love that first pic. Anyone know who made it? That one has about 600 bucks worth of electrictronics on it. I'd sure like to hear that one. _________________ Currently own, 6 Groner-tone lap steels, one 1953 Alamo Lap steel, Roland Cube, Fender Champion 40 |
