My latest Country Classic tune is "The Party's Over".
The song was written by Willie Nelson in 1956 when he was working at a radio station in Portland, Oregon.

It was first recorded by Claude Gray in 1959 and then by Willie in 1966

It gained some popularity when Don Meredith would sign a portion of the sing while announcing Monday Night Football.

Willie re-recorded it again in 1982.

My latest Country Classic is "I'm A Lonesome Fugitive".
This song was written by Liz and Casey Anderson.
It became Merle Haggard's first big hit.
It was written in 1966 and the record was released on March 4th, 1967.
The inspiration for the song was the TV Show: "The Fugitive" starring David Jansen. :D

Hi Erv:
Would you be able to do "Sunday Morning Coming Down"?
