what is the best flight case option for an LDG? looking at Pelican iM3100 storm case or SKB-H3611W trap case. Thanks! |

Ryan I have been using a SKB trapcase as my flying case for my Zum Hybrid D10's for quite a few years - they are ideal for keeping the weight down a bit and have wheels !
Highly recommend. You just need to line out the inside with the appropriate foam. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

thanks Paddy. I've heard the Pelican cases are a bit sturdier, although they appear a bit heavier too. trying to keep the thing under 50 lbs and 62" combined dimension. i've heard guys putting the pedal bar and legs in their luggage in order to manage the weight. not sure if that's feasible to do in a carry on bag. |

I have lightweight legs as well which helps, but usually put the pedal bar in my other bag ... usually have that in the checked baggage as well. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

Ryan, Glen Brown has had some flight cases made for him in the last few years and they look real pro. Some guy near Red Deer. Contact Glen. |
