Sho Bud Super Pro S-12 Ext E9 for Trade

Post by Colin Swinney »

I'm putting my Sho Bud Super Pro S-12 Extended E9 up for trade. I love it, it's a real beauty and in great shape, but I'm relearning after a few years away from steel and the extra two strings are just too much for me.

I'm open to any offers, but I am hoping to find another Sho Bud. Ideally an LDG, or Pro 1, but I'd entertain D-10's as well. I'd also be willing to include or take cash if I am trading up or down. Make me an offer!

It weighs 53 lbs in the case, and I will include the original info from when I bought the guitar about a month ago:
The "Gumby" peghead is standard on the 12-string Sho Buds, and is the same size as the regular 10 string pegheads. This pedal steel has the white and black aluminum fretboard, brass nut rollers, and Super Pro undercarriage (5 hole bellcranks and triple raise/ double lower changer) for flexible setup and modification. Two bellcranks (A pedal) have been replaced with Aluminum ones from PSGParts, as one had been bent. This is an excellent guitar, with easy tuning/ adjustments/ modifications.

Current Copedent/ Emmons (left to right):
A pedal: Raises strings 5 and 10 from B to C#
B pedal: Raises strings 3, 6, and 11 from G# to A
C pedal: Raises strings 4 and 5 from B&E to C#&F#
LKL: Raises strings 4 and 8 from E to F
LKR: Raises strings 1 and 7 from F# to G
RKL: Lowers strings 4 and 8 from E to Eb
RKR: Lowers strings 2 and 9 (D# to D/C# with the pictured 1/2 stop) and (D to C#) respectively.

Thanks for the interest guys. I'm not offering a cash price just yet, trades only as I don't want to spend any significant time without a guitar. Looking for that perfect Bud.
