The Star Spangled Banner_For the Victims Of Vegas

Post by John A. Russell »

Hey All

It is with sadness I offer this short tribute tab, of "The Star Spangled Banner"! As a visitor to the USA for 25 years and a visitor to Las Vegas, I have come to love the USA.
What happened at Vegas this week, bares no resemblance to the "American People".
I offer this short but sincere tab, that maybe, steeler's will play, before a set, or just at home, in remembrance.

Sincerely J.R.

John, what a wonderful offering after that terrible mess in Vegas.
Hopefully, that song will get a lot of air time on the psg's from the forum.
Thanks again.

Another great tab from John. Very glad to receive it but sorry for the circumstances that prompted it. I can't recommend John's tabs enough, especially for beginner/intermediate players. Always much to learn!

Got it John. Thank you so much. Nice cover sheet.

Kinda warms the heart that someone on the other side of the pond cares more about our flag/anthem than some of the multi millionaire sports figures we have here.

Just sayin'. Flame away.

Tablature

Post by John A. Russell »

As you all know, I only do one tab per month now.
Each tab is available for that month only.

HOWEVER, I have made an exception on this one, as it was written to honor you folks of the U.S.A., who I have visited many times over the course of 25 years.

As this song belongs to the USA, I return it to you, in tab form, for our beloved instrument, the PSG.

Thanks to all of you, that I have made PSG friends with.

Kind Regards

Dear John Russell,

I noticed that you have made an exception regarding the Star Spangled Banner tab you gratiously offered in the past. I would love to have a copy of it, if possible. The band I have been playing with often plays at our local American Veterans post and I would love to play it for them.

My email address is dgjter51@comcast.net

Thanks very much!

Star Spangled Banner Tab

John Russell,
Thanks very much for sending this tab. I will be very proud when I'm able to play it! It is very well done, even for a beginner, and I really liked you use of octaves in the tab.
