Good song and great singer. Eddie plays great. Makes the song stand out. Country music at it's best.

"This Time" is another good one by Joshua.

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

I had never heard of this illusive creature they call Joshua Hedley.

Great stuff. I have now listened to everything that comes up on Youtube for this guy, and there are a lot of good steel licks on all of his videos and recordings. Really good steel work.

Glad you posted this.

I've never seen Eddie Lang, so I don't have a clue what he looks like.

Is this steel player Eddie Lang?

Kevin, Read your post with interest and played the video. For 33 years I operated coin machines ( juke boxes, pinballs, coin op pool tables ect). Even though I was extremely glad when I got out of the business I can still recall memories of those years both good and bad. Many many times patrons related to me their connection and personal feelings regarding a particular song. I suppose many people reminisce this time of the year .Old memories are ok but I hope to make good ones in the new year so HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Mark,
Here are a couple videos of Eddie Lange, one with Josh Hedley and another with another great steel player, Mike Bourque (playing bass) at AJ's.

Both of those YouTube channels have lots of great live shows with steel on them.

Mark Greenway,.. the steeler you asked about is Pete Finney playing the GFI.
I thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I’ve said the same about them all.

Thanks Norbert, Andy and Mike. This thread started 4 years ago. I now have a folder full of Eddie Lange stuff.

I have a friend that went on one of those country music cruises last year, and he came back talking about meeting and becoming friends with Josh Hedley on that cruise. Leo Grassi was playing steel for Josh on that cruise.

I’m going on that country music cruise this year, in a few weeks actually, and I am looking forward to it.
