Just wondering how long a typical repair took for the people who sent amps back to be looked at. I sent my session 400 back and after 2 weeks, I haven't heard any news. A nice lady called and said they were backlogged, and they definitely received it.

I can answer my own question. Peavey called today with a very reasonable bill for 2 new transistors, and new filter caps. In and out in exactly 2 weeks. Cant wait to reassemble the old girl.

Our Service Department is top notch, however, like any company that performs repairs on 50 plus years of product, we get a little behind, especially around or after the Summer vacation and Christmas breaks. But, we do eventually get caught up. Just be patient with us.
Also, there are authorized Peavey service centers all over the country that will repair your Peavey product, if need be. |
