John: Sorry, not sure what you mean. There's a piece within which four double AA batteries are held, which fits into a space on the back of the tuner with a snap-into-place cover.

Thank you Ted ! This is exactly what I wanted to know.Iâ€™ve just bought a second hand Korg wt10a tuner and that piece (holder) youâ€™re mentioning is missing !!! I was about to put a 9 volt battery instead but I think Iâ€™d better get the 4 aa battery holder before switching it on.ðŸ‘ðŸ˜‰
