I'm experimenting with the Boss Katana & Peavey Nashville 1000 amp again, this time on C6th. See if you can tell me what amp is which and the one you like the best.

Both are good, but the second one has more string separation. |

Ok, I'm thinking about getting the head version to run a 212 cabinet. |

Having lost my hi frequency hearing to a great extent, I can't be much of an opinion. The first is nice and round sound, moody. 2nd part seems to have a little more definition and note separation. ... _________________ Mullen Lacquer SD 10, 3 & 5; Mullen Mica S 10 1/2 pad, 3 & 5; BJS Bars; LTD400, Nashville 112, DD-3, RV-3, Hilton VP . -- Gold Tone PBS sq neck; Wechter Scheerhorn sq neck. -- "Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone." -anon.- |

And the answer is!
The first amp is the Peavey 1000
The second amp sound is the Katana. |

That is pretty cool, I think the tone of both amps are beautiful. I especially love the tone on C6. I can't wait to get mine and just to try things out with this amp. _________________ Zumsteel - 1982 - 8x5

I think the second amp is the Nashville 1000, more bottom and sweeter tone from that 15" BW speaker _________________ Email: azpedalman@gmail.com

Mathew,
You really have experiment for about a week to get the tone. Don't expect to find it in an hour.

Ron, your tone on either amp is great. The live clip is excellent. That's a great band! |

Lots of gray whiskers on that stage. I'd fit right in!

Yes I've played out live with it. It does well, but my Peavey is still my favorite. But for the weight, power, price
and function, it does good.
HERE IT IS OUTLIVE.

Which one ? (I see a Peavey amp next to you on that video, but maybe the Katana is hidden somewhere else) Sounds good tho' !
Thanks |

Ron, the Katana sounds so good. Never expected it to be anywhere close to the Nashville in tone. I'm getting one for sure. Thanks for posting this. |
