2018 SWSGA Show Highlights

Post by Bill Tauson »

Greetings,

Below is a link for some highlight photos of Thursday's show. There are several steel guitar vendors along with many others here. It's a great opportunity to test drive some outstanding guitars, talk with the vendors and get your questions answered. There are many other vendors here with steel guitar accessories, amps, instructional materials, and much more.

As you can see by some of the photos, the talent is made up of some of the finest players around.

The show continues on Friday and Saturday and we hope to see ya there!!

Thanks for the photos. Wish I was there and out of this Ohio Valley winter storm. I'll just close my eyes and dream.
I sure miss me some good steel guitar shows too.

Looks like you're all having a great time.

I'm not much of a photographer, but here are a few pics I snapped today at SWSGA.

Thanks for the pics b0b. Got a new recruit there on the Olympic? Gotta love kids with steel guitar interest.

BTW, how's the ear?

Still can't hear out of right ear, but no pain.

That kid was helping his mom at the jewelry booth next to us. His 10-year-old sister was more interested in steel than he was. :)

Bill Tuason's pictures (link above) are great, BTW. Check them out.

Thanks Bill - great photos
I think you work harder than most of the musicians (with the obvious exception of the house band). The rest of us only work for a set or two and you have to work all weekend!
Thanks again.

A Two-Fold post.
First, the SWSGA is Blest to have two Bill T's as photographers. Both are very qualified and do Fantastic jobs at the show. Thanks to Bill Tauson and Bill Terry for the great memories which you create with your photographic talents..
Second.
This last show was a tough one for me,as I was going through a bout of Bronchitis.
I wish to Thank my fellow EmCees, Ray Jenkins, Darrell Birthcer and Bill Bassett for carrying me and taking on an extra load. I was extremely proud of the comments which I heard about the show and about the jobs that each of these gentlemen performed.
Thanks to each of you for bailing me out... I Owe You Each....
