Triple 8 Rickenbacker on ebay

Just a heads up. I just saw what is described as a triple 8 Rickenbacker model 518 on eBay with a buy it now price of $1250 plus shipping from Orange, Ca. I'd buy it myself but simply don't have the space for more toys, so am alerting the forum. I do not know the seller nor have I seen the instrument other than the pictures on eBay.
