BMI Flight Ready

Post by Robert Gifford »

BMI Flight Ready Pedal Steel - $1500 (Including shipping to the lower 48)
Great Pedal Steel - super light and sounds fantastic.
3 x 5, Emmon's set up.
Looks almost new and comes in a nice light case.

I bought this from a guy who had it setup in his studio in Austin who got it from a local pedal steel player there. I haven't done a whole lot playing on it, I'm mainly a guitar player and never got around to putting the time it needed in to it.

Let me know if you have any questions.

On the SGF visuals really will make the sale for you, Bob. Your buyer can tell it's not dinged or scratched up= low hours of use. Can you estimate weight in/out of case? Thx..
All the best wishes. JZ

If I remember correctly, the weight is 24 lbs out of case.

This may be a coupla dumb questions but I've only been playing a short while and with a 3x1 mid-70's Maverick with the ash-tray type headstock. I need something to grow on and I'm thinking a 3x4 (or 5) is the way to go but I do like the tone of my Maverick - I'm much more into classic country than contemporary.

Can anyone suggest a song or YT video that would give me an example of the type of tone this guitar gets (I use a fender Deluxe Reverb)?

Also, I'm 6'3" tall and need something that my long skinny legs will fit under. Are the four legs adjustable?
